Paul’s litigation practice is focused primarily in the areas of financial services, creditor’s rights, and title insurance. He represents banks, title insurance companies, private equity groups, and other financial entities and creditors in a variety of matters involving state and federal law.

Paul has extensive experience in collection and contract litigation, including guaranty and foreclosure litigation, fraudulent conveyance claims, repossession of property securing commercial and consumer credit transactions, and judgment enforcement. He also defends banks against lender liability claims. Additionally, Paul represents insured lenders and property owners in real property disputes. He represents parties in litigation in the United States Bankruptcy Court, and he also advises clients in contract matters including leasing transactions, loan workouts, and on the enforceability of credit agreements and loan documents.

Paul is an active leader within the firm’s Meritas network, a global alliance of legal professionals serving 235 business markets; he served as Chairman of the Meritas Young Lawyer Advisory Board during the 2016-2017 term and currently serves on the Meritas Member Engagement Committee.
