Lisle primarily focuses his practice on appellate advocacy and civil litigation. He represents clients in a wide range of disputes involving construction, healthcare, insurance coverage, premises liability, product liability, and commercial transportation and trucking. Additionally, he has experience in business litigation, government litigation, and administrative and regulatory matters.

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Lisle graduated cum laude from Wofford College in 2011, receiving his bachelor’s degree in government with a concentration in political thought and a minor in economics. He then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he tutored in legal writing and served as Editor in Chief of the South Carolina Law Review, earning his Juris Doctor in 2014.

Prior to joining Sowell Gray Robinson, Lisle clerked for the Honorable H. Bruce Williams at the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the Honorable David C. Norton at the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. His experience in dealing with cases at both the trial and appellate level allows him to offer a unique perspective when coordinating litigation and trial strategies, as well as in briefing and arguing issues on appeal, to help see a client’s case all the way through to the end.
